The 60-Foot Headache

Lightacles wasn't born in a boardroom. It started on my living room floor, two Christmases ago, untangling a 60-foot mess of string lights with my daughter — weaving around the room, dodging the cat — only to discover half the strand was dead.

We've all been there. The snarls. The wasted hour. The last-minute store run because a handful of burnt-out bulbs took down the whole display. I knew there had to be a better way.

The "Aha" Moment

The answer came from the least likely place: my electric toothbrush. When I clicked it onto its magnetic charger and felt that satisfying, foolproof snap, something clicked in my head too.

With my brother and boyfriend by my side, we started experimenting — cutting light strings, testing pogo pins, seeing if the concept could actually hold up. We weren't just chasing convenience; we wanted something genuinely beautiful and built to last. After two years of prototyping and perfecting the magnetic connectors, Lightacles was ready.
